Well, the last piece of Halloween candy has been collected, and all donations have been weighed. The competition was fierce, especially among our 7th grade homerooms. As a school, we collected a record 513 pounds of candy. The 7th grade homeroom who contributed just under a whopping 51 pounds is A-4, Mrs. Weber's homeroom, and the 8th grade homeroom who contributed 36 pounds winning for a third straight year is A-13, Mr Casagrande's homeroom. Stay tuned for an email to set up your pizza party.

Tomorrow, we will have an extended homeroom from 8:30 - 9:06 a.m. to allow everyone to participate in a survey being conducted with students at both HMS and the high school regarding your perception, experience and views on alcohol, tobacco/vapes, marijuana, and other drugs.
You will be able to respond to the survey questions online using your Chromebooks.
The survey is COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS. You won't provide your name and no one will know or see your individual responses. The survey is also COMPLETELY VOLUNTARY. You do not have to participate if you don't wish to, or you may skip any question you feel you don't wish to respond to.
If you don't want to participate in the survey at all, you should bring along a book to read quietly or you may work on other homework or class assignments during that time.

Check your email for more information about the survey and our bell schedule for extended homeroom tomorrow.

Today is the Great American Smokeout/Vapeout! PLEASE support your peer leaders today during your lunch period as they do a 2 minute, LIVE, public service announcement about the dangers of smoking.
