The Hillsborough Middle School Robotics Team, the Buzz Droids, competed on Saturday, November 19th, at BoroBlast, the Regional FLL Tournament at Hillsborough High School, hosted by Team 75, the HHS Robotics Team.
In FIRST Lego League, teams competed in three areas: Core Values, the Project, and Robot Design. In the end, HMS Robotics won the robot award for Mechanical Design. This award recognizes a team that designs and develops a mechanically sound robot that is durable and highly capable of performing challenge missions.
The team also took 2nd place in the robot competition!
The HMS Robotics Team will be moving forward to the State Tournament on December 10th at Mt. Olive High School in Flanders, NJ. Congratulations and good luck!
