  • Students may have five (5) items checked-out in their name at a time.
  • Most books circulate for four weeks. (Graphic Novels circulate for only two weeks.)  They may be renewed one (1) time for an additional four weeks. Books must be returned to the library to be renewed.
  • Overnight books are due the next morning before the bell for 1st period has rung.
  • Magazines circulate for a one (1) day period.
  • The magazine must be returned to the library in the same condition it was borrowed.
  • If damaged in any way, i.e., torn covers, pages damaged by having pictures cut out, or writing in the magazine, the student will pay the replacement cost of the magazine.
  • Lost envelopes result in a $1.00 fee.
  • Please place books in the book drop at the circulation desk.
  • Overdue materials prevent a student from checking out any other materials. It is in the student's best interest to not keep materials past the due date, or respond to the first overdue notice by either returning the book or magazine, or renewing the overdue materials.
  • Weekly overdue notices are emailed to the student. The fifth overdue notice results in an email home alerting the parents of the overdue materials so that the parents may help in hastening the return of the materials.
  • The student's report card will be withheld until overdue materials have been returned or paid for the lost material's replacement.
  • Lost books and magazines are charged the current replacement cost of the material.
  • Damaged book fines are determined on a case-by-case basis. Examples are: Lost barcode = $1.00 ; Lost/Damaged cover = $2.00 - $5.00 ; Missing Magazine Envelope = $1.00.
