January 18, 2017
As we continue to recognize No Name-Calling Week, we hope that many of you are wearing HMS school colors to show that "HMS is United Against Name-Calling." You will also observe the trash can on the stage in the cafeteria, filled with hurtful words to visualize that Name Calling is a Waste! Tomorrow, all are encouraged to wear mismatched socks or clothing to show that "HMS Celebrates Differences!" And start thinking about ideas for the NNCW contest - remember, teams have TWO options to choose from to create a message about respect: either make a team video or decorate your homeroom doors. We will award the Raider Cup to two winning teams!

Have you lost something? The Lost and Found bins in the Main Office are overflowing!
Please be sure to check out HMS's Online Lost & Found Site with pictures of items. Lost and Found Clean Out continues today, January 18 through Thursday, January 19. All unclaimed items will be donated after school on Friday!

Just one, 8 ounce glass of milk supplies ⅓ of a teenager’s recommended daily calcium intake.
