Are you interested in technology, arts, mechanics, crafting, fashion, history, theater and more? Our Odyssey of the Mind Club combines these things and more skills to create original solutions to problems. If you think you have something to offer our competitive academic club, please come to tryouts on September 29th BEFORE school at 7:30am, or October 6th AFTER school until 4:00pm. Hey 8th graders, are you looking to promote school spirit and make a change for the better in our school and community? Then T.O.P.S. is the club for you. An interest meeting will be held next Thursday morning, September 29th at 7:30 am in the Library.

Are you interested in learning how to knit or crochet? Do you already know how to knit or crochet and are looking for some company? Then come check out the HMS Yarn Club interest meeting! We will meet next Wednesday, September 28th at 7:30 in room C6, Mrs. Mottley's room. We are looking forward to seeing you!

We are excited to announce the start of a new club at HMS - the Gender Sexuality Alliance, or GSA for short. GSAs are student-run organizations that unite LGBTQ+ and allied youth to address issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community. In recent years, GSAs have expanded beyond their traditional role as safe spaces for LGBTQ+ students, and now serve as vehicles for deep social change related to all forms of justice. The first meeting of the HMS GSA will take place on Tuesday, October 4th at 3:15 PM in Room C-7. Contact Mr. Robson at [email protected] with any questions.

Do you ever think of creative ways to learn in class? Perhaps you find yourself thinking 'If I were the teacher, I know what I'd do!" If so, then the Future Educators of America club is for you! On Thursday September 29th, Ms. Horr will hold an interest meeting for any students who are thinking of joining this club; come hear more about it to see if it's the right fit for you! The meeting will take place in C5 at 7:30.
