Voting is a citizen’s super power and though you cannot vote in a state or federal election now, your voice and opinions still matter. Know that you always have the right to speak up and speak out on issues that matter to you. Announcements regarding when HMSCARES will start this year are coming soon.
The HMS Drama Club will be holding an Interest and Information meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 21st from 3:15 - 4:30. This meeting is for all HMS students interested in participating in the Drama Club Fall production, both acting and stage crew. The meeting will be held in the Annex Choral Studio on Wed. Sept. 21st from 3:15 - 4:30. Questions can be directed to Mrs. Szabo or Ms. Fink.
Are you someone who likes to make a difference? Do you like to participate in projects to make our school a better place? If so, consider joining the HMS Student Council! Mr. Heck and Mrs. Weber will be holding an interest meeting for Student Council tomorrow Wednesday, September 21st in the library at 7:45. Hope to see you there!
Are you interested in learning how to knit or crochet? Do you already know how to knit or crochet and are looking for some company? Then come check out the HMS Yarn Club interest meeting! We will meet next Wednesday, September 28th at 7:30 in room C6, Mrs. Mottley's room. We are looking forward to seeing you!
Attention 7th graders, tonight is Back-to-School night for your parents. Please remind mom or dad that the program starts at 6:30 pm in homeroom. Parents will get your schedule of classes when they arrive in your homeroom which means they need to know your homeroom. Remind them of that tonight. Make sure that your parents know the name of your homeroom teacher and the classroom number as well. Lastly, remind mom and dad that tonight is for parents ONLY. With the exception of students who are helping out, no other students should be here tonight.
8th grade back-to-school night is next Tuesday.
