Hey HMS, are you ready to get your "ghoul" on? Ready to play some "boosketball"? Then join us this Friday night, October 25th for our annual Halloween dance. Enjoy DJ and open gym from 7 to 9 pm. Costumes are optional. Tickets are $5.00 include snacks and drinks, and will be on sale during all lunch periods this week.

Tomorrow starts Red Ribbon Week at HMS, a campaign to educate about the dangers of substance abuse. To kick things off, tomorrow is Wear Red Day, so remember to wear something RED! Prizes will be awarded to the first two homerooms with 100% participation that email photos to Mrs. Mahler. HMS is also participating in the annual food drive for SHIP, the Samaritan Homeless Interim Project, which serves those in need in Somerset County. Every homeroom has a collection bag, and our goal this year is to fill ALL 45 homeroom bags with canned goods, non-perishable food items and personal care products. We "CAN" do it! Finally, Red Ribbon trivia questions will be posted on the cafeteria slideshow, and the response box is located on the stage. Five winners per day will be selected to receive a Dunkin Donuts gift card!

The Library Media Center is looking for student assistants to stamp date due cards, shelve books as well as check them in and out. Interested students should see Ms. Williams in the media center.

Congratulations to the field hockey team! They beat Ridge in their semifinal game yesterday 2-1 in double overtime and penalty corners. They advance to the championship game tomorrow against Warren Hills at Warren Hills at 4 pm. Let's go Boro!
