Attention 8th graders, tonight is Back-to-School night for your parents. Please remind mom or dad that the program starts at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. Parents will get your schedule of classes when they arrive to your homeroom around 7:00. So, that means, they need to know your homeroom. Remind them of that tonight. Make sure they know the name of your homeroom teacher and the classroom number as well. Lastly, remind mom and dad that tonight is for parents ONLY. With the exception of students who are helping out, no other students should be here tonight.

Attention all cast, ensemble AND crew of "It's a Wonderful Life" for Drama Club: There is a rehearsal after school TODAY in Mrs. Baker's room. Listen carefully: If you are in crew or ensemble you can leave at 4:00. If you are in the CAST you leave at 5:00. Please arrange for your transportation to pick you up on time, and we encourage car pooling. Everyone MUST attend. Please see or email Mrs. Presuto or Mrs. Baker with any questions. Mrs. Baker will meet with George, Mary and Clarence on Friday until 4:15

Are you interested in teaching your peers and elementary school students about wellness and preventing bullying? If so, then being a peer leader/educator may be for you! Students interested in participating in AWARE and PRIDE are invited to attend an information session on Tuesday, September 24th at 7:45 AM in Room D-1. Contact Mrs. Mahler or Mrs. Rusin if you have any questions.

HMS is on the move to reduce gun violence in America. We're looking to start a local chapter of the March for Our Lives organization and we need students ready to work for change. Check your email for more information or join us on Wednesday, September 25th before school at 7:45 in room D2. No more silence. Let's end gun violence.
