With sleep and exercise, good nutrition helps fuel your brain and body for whatever you want to do! Eating well helps your physical wellness, which in turn helps your emotional well-being. You may have noticed that when you feel hungry or haven’t eaten in too long, your body feels sluggish or slow, and you cannot focus or pay attention as well; some people get cranky, irritable, or even sad. Eating protein at least every 4-6 hours a day helps fuel your body and brain. Healthy fats, fruits, vegetables, and some healthy carbohydrates are important, as well!
Today at lunch, try a sample of Cauliflower. Cauliflower is often considered one of the healthiest foods on earth. With its rich supply of health-promoting phytochemicals, high level of anti-inflammatory compounds, and ability to ward off cancer, heart disease, brain disease, and even weight gain. It seems there isn’t much cauliflower can’t do. Cauliflower can be fried, mashed, baked, boiled, made into a sauce or even pizza crust. So try cauliflower today and have a healthy day!
