Congratulations from the School Climate Team to all students who submitted essays for the Rachel's Challenge Code of Ethics Contest. The runners up are: Julia Stevens, Meilin Fischer, Hassan Ali, Chloe Bynes, Rishi Roy, Phyllis Yeboah and Dana Sims.
The first place winner is Jahnave Dadi from Team 7E. In her essay, Jahnave wrote about the 3 guiding principals of her life: keeping her promises, treating everyone with respect and holding herself accountable, in other words, being honest.
All winners - please report to the Guidance Office to pick up your prize and certificate. Each week, these students' Words of Wisdom will be shared as part of our morning announcements.
Today's Words of Wisdom once again come from Jahnave, who reminds us that "Ethics are the beliefs that a person practices everyday. Ethics not only define a person's character, ethics build civilizations." With something to think about....

Now that testing is done, students with loaners should be checking your email and picking up your repaired Chromebook if you have received a notice. We have a large number of Chromebooks waiting to be picked up at the tech hub.

Reminder to all STAR members that there will be a meeting tomorrow!

If you borrowed a pair of earbuds from you teacher during PARCC and returned them in a bag labeled with your name, we may keep them. There is a bag of labeled ear buds in a basket by the lost and found in the main office. 8th graders will need earbuds in 2 weeks for the science test. If you think you have a pair of earbuds in the basket, please stop by and pick them up.
