Did you know that it is recommend that teens get at least 1 hour of physical activity on most, preferably all, days of the week? Regular physical activity improves strength and endurance, helps build healthy bones and muscles, helps control weight, reduces anxiety and stress, increases self-esteem, helps reduce the risk of developing chronic disease, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and colon cancer, and may help improve students’ academic performance. So, Get Moving and be Active Every Day!
Today at lunch try a sample of a golden delicious apple. These apples are low in calories, are a good source of soluble fiber and contain vitamins A and C. This apple has a sweet, tart flavor which makes it suitable for all types of eating and cooking. Add this apple to a salad, use it in baking or eat it as is. Try a Golden Delicious Apple Today and have a great day!
