Coding & Computer Game Design Club
Mrs. Napoletano
After school ; Wednesdays ; begins October

Through creative, innovative and critical thinking, students will work independently and collaboratively to learn the basics of coding in this fun filled club. You will participate in on-line training sessions that will help you learn computer programming, create, design and build interactive games and possibly create your own apps.

HMS Robotics Team
Mrs. McManus
3:10 - 5:00 p.m. ; Mondays & Thursdays ; begins September

Does the idea of building an autonomous robot sound like fun? Then this may be the club for you! We participate in the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL), which is a robotics program that is designed to get students excited about science and technology while teaching valuable life skills. The team has no more than ten students, and the group will prepare for the competition in November.

Video Game Club
Mrs. Schneider & Mrs. Dolly
After school ; Thursdays ; begins October

The Video Game Club, meets once a week in the morning, providing our students an outlet where they can socialize and interact with their peers. The club currently has a Microsoft Wii and WiiU in which the students play one another in non-violent (E Rated games).

Woodworking Club
Mr. McLean
After school ; Mondays & Fridays ; begins March

The woodworking club is for those students who would like to use Antique and Modern tools to work wood into functional art to be used in everyday life. Projects such as a Cutting Board, Stool, small cabinetry and other small to medium sized projects will be offered. If you loved Tech Ed and just wanted to do more, this is the club for you!
