This club will span the course of American history through film. Each week we will watch a movie (or documentary) that highlights a time period in the American experience. This club will have dual themes: Not only will we learn about American history by watching movies, we will also discuss how the filmmakers interpreted each time period, and what their portrayals say about the time in which each movie was made. The History Club will meet every Wednesday after school until 5:30 from October through May.
